During the pandemic, my daughter, Diya, and our grandkids, six-year old Aju and his sister, four-year old Kai stayed with us over a period of five months.
On the evening of their arrival, (grandpa) Raj did what he always does at the end of a workday. He came down from his study into the living room, hit the recliner, and switched on his playlist of songs.
That evening he invited the grandkids to his music party.
Raj’s favorite playlist consists of numbers from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Some from the 90s.
“The kids won’t care for the golden oldies,” I said.
