I am sure like me, there have been times when you have wondered what difference might have been made to your life, if your younger self had been gifted with the experience and knowledge you have accumulated over the years.

I invited several friends from the writing community to share their thoughts on this subject which I am sure you will enjoy as much as I did.

Today’s guest is another author whose books I enjoy very much. Richard Dee who shares his perspective on life’s experiences.

How many times have any of us wondered what would we say, if we had the chance to go back and give our younger selves some advice or encouragement?

When you’re talking about a subject like this, what you want to impart on your previous self depends on how far back in time you want to go.

Speaking as someone in their mid-60s, who has changed direction more than once, the biggest jump would be back to visit my sixteen-year-old self. Back then, I was just out of school, with no qualifications and no prospects. My message to that boy would be, don’t worry, it’ll all sort itself out. It might not seem like it at the time but it will all make sense in the end.
